Seven Member States, the European Fisheries Control Agency (EFCA) and the European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA) are participating in the multi-purpose Baltic Sea 2025 operation led by the European Border and Coast Guard Agency (Frontex). The operation encompasses monitoring and risk analysis, information exchange and expert knowledge, as well as bespoke capacity-building in the Baltic Sea region.

• 1.When will the Baltic Sea 2025 operation take place and which areas will be patrolled or monitored?
• 2.Which Member States are participating with which sea and air assets or other capabilities, and what technology is EU agencies providing?
• 3.To which specific infrastructure or specific threat situation does the operation’s ‘monitoring and risk analysis’ section refer?
