Meeting with the Italian women’s and men’s national volleyball teams

The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, met today with the Italian women’s and men’s national volleyball teams, who won double gold at the 2025 World Championships.
The teams, who put Italy on the podium for the second time in the last two editions of the competition, were accompanied by the coach of the men’s team, Ferdinando De Giorgi; the coach of the women’s team, Julio Velasco; the Minister for Sport and Youth, Andrea Abodi; the President of the Italian Volleyball Federation (FIPAV), Giuseppe Manfredi; and, the President of the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI), Luciano Buonfiglio.
