World Restart a Heart Day is a worldwide campaign observed to raise awareness on the importance of learning cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and using defibrillator in cases of sudden cardiac arrest and supports people to learn CPR.

Cardiac arrest is a significant public health problem globally, responsible for approximately 15-20% of all deaths around the world.

Performing CPR and using a defibrillator promptly, before the arrival of emergency services, can help save up to 200,000 lives annually.

For every minute without CPR and defibrillation, the chance of survival reduces by up to 10%.
