On Thursday, 6 November 2025, the FEMM Committee jointly with the LIBE Committee invited the Commission to present its first report of the baseline evaluation procedure of the implementation of the Istanbul Convention.
Since the accession of the EU to the Istanbul Convention in 2023, the EU is required to submit an official report as part of the baseline evaluation procedure of the EU’s implementation of the Convention. The report will be presented by the European Commission before it is submitted to GREVIO.
