On the occasion of the sixth edition of the European Parliament’s Gender Equality Week 2025, ECON’s contribution features high level female representatives in European finance, on Wednesday 5 November 2025.
After the introductory remarks by the ECON Chair Aurore Lalucq, Nadia Calviño, President of the European Investment Bank (EIB), will address ECON Members via a video message on ‘The EIB Group’s strategy for gender equality and women’s economic empowerment’.
The presentation will be followed by some remarks of Commissioner María Luis Albuquerque, responsible for Financial Services and the Savings and Investments Union.
