Question for written answer E-003100/2025
to the Commission
Rule 144
Nicolás González Casares (S&D)
In light of the Netanyahu Government’s systematic killings through lethal force and famine, I ask the Commission the following:
- 1.Does the Commission not consider a genocide to be taking place?
- 2.If not, at what point would the Commission consider the human rights violations in Gaza to constitute a genocide?
- 3.In the Commission’s view, does the President of the Commission’s frequent support, in the form of statements and institutional visits, for the Netanyahu Government’s external policy and acts of war foster a greater sense of impunity that has allowed serious human rights violations to be committed?
