The Minister of State for Forestry, Farm Safety and Horticulture, Michael Healy-Rae TD, has today launched an open call for proposals for forestry promotion projects.
Minister Healy-Rae welcomed the third tranche of this open call, stating:
This public call seeks to support innovative projects that promote afforestation, sustainable forest management, and the benefits of forestry and timber products, including their climate, environmental, economic and societal benefits. Particular focus will be placed on initiatives that engage farmers, landowners and the wider public.
Minister Healy-Rae added:
Applications to this competitive process are invited from any group or individual, for projects running between June and October 2026. As with previous tranches, applications are expected from a wide range of stakeholders.
